Our Service Fees – The Travel Owls

To cover the costs of reservation processing, system maintenance, and customer support, The Travel Owls imposes service fees on specific bookings. The total amount indicated at checkout is the only one you'll be charged for, and these costs are always stated beforehand.

Below, we have detailed our service rates for your transparency.

Taxes for Airline Reservation Services

A service fee is typically added to airline bookings, both per passenger and per ticket.

• Valid for: Flights both domestic and overseas
• Each passenger may incur a maximum service fee of $50

Fees for Hotel Reservation Services

A service fee per reservation may be applied when using The Travel Owls to book a hotel.

• Included in: All reservations for lodging
• Fee cap: $42 maximum per reservation

Reservation Fees for Rental Car Services

There may be a service fee added to each rental car reservation.

• Included: All rental cars
• A maximum of $40 will be charged for each rental

Exchange Rates

When you pay, we'll convert all of the service costs to your local currency.

Traveller Qualifications

No traveler category is immune to service fees; these may include:

Travelers from the military, as well as adults, children, the elderly, babies, and students.

Refund Policy for Service Fees

• You usually can't get your money back for service fees.
• A refund of the service cost is possible if the cancellation is made within 24 hours of the booking.
• It is common practice to not refund service fees after 24 hours.

The prices of our services are subject to change at any time.

Verifying the Cost

Your payment method will only be charged for the total amount displayed during checkout.

Please double-check your total before finalizing your reservation.

More Expensive Service Bookings

There may be additional charges for specific booking types:

• Up to $50 for each traveler on vacation packages
• Up to $200 per person on business and first class flights
• Interchangeable jaw journeys: as much as $100 every traveler
• Customizable search dates or airports in the area: up to $55 each traveler
• Fusion or discounted fares: as much as $100 each traveler
• Up to $100 each passenger for unaccompanied minor reservations

Reservations for Contact Centers

A higher service fee may be applied to bookings booked through The Travel Owls call center compared to bookings made online.

This may apply to Itineraries that are particularly intricate, like:

• Long routes (multi-stop)
• Traveling around the globe

Passengers may be charged anything from $15 to $250 for contact center services. Senior citizens may be eligible for discounted prices. Premium support services could be a part of these reservations as well.

Last Remarks

Any and all service costs can be changed at any time. You will only be charged the whole amount that appears at checkout.
