The Travel Owls: Post-Ticketing Fees

Charges applicable after ticket issuance

After your plane ticket has been issued, there are additional fees that must be paid. Cancellations, refunds, swaps, handling of waivers, and special service requests are all covered by these charges.

Unless otherwise specified, all fees incurred after purchasing a ticket are per passenger and per ticket. At checkout, all the fees are converted to the currency of your choice.

Updates on Cancellations (24-Hour Notice)

To cancel a ticket within 24 hours:

Economy Class

  • Domestic trips: $75
  • International trips: $75

Business / First Class

  • Domestic trips: $100
  • International trips: $100

Eligibility for a refund is contingent upon the fare regulations of the airline.

No-Shows and Cancellations After 24 Hours

For cancellations made after 24 hours:

All Classes

  • Domestic trips: $250
  • International trips: $250

When the airline's fare terms permit, refunds will be processed.

Fees for Ticket Exchanges

Your ticket's worth determines the exchange charge:

  • Passengers can save up to $120 on tickets priced below $1,000.
  • Up to $120, or 15% of the ticket value, whichever is greater, for tickets priced $1,000 or more.

There will be a separate charge for any airline change penalties.

Fees for Waiver Processing

The following fees apply to waiver requests that involve an agent:

Economy Class

  • Domestic trips: $50
  • International trips: $75

Business / First Class

  • Domestic trips: $100
  • International trips: $200

Only airline policies can decide whether a waiver is approved.

Matters That Could Require Fees

Cases involving: may incur post-ticketing fines,

  • Passing or loss (bereavement or death)
  • Problems with military travel
  • Problems with a visa or Schengen visa issues
  • Refunding the ticket
  • Corrections to names
  • Shifts in schedule or route
  • Duration extensions for tickets
  • Individuals who do not show up (no-show cases)
  • Admission to UNMR

According to the guidelines of the airline, each request is examined separately.

Protocol for Exception Cases of Compassion

A Compassion Exception Policy is followed by the Travel Owls for:

  • Travelers serving in the military
  • Cases involving loss
  • Travelers with visual impairments

Airline paperwork and fare policies are the final arbiters of approval.

Crucial Details

  • Adults, children, seniors, babies, students, and members of the armed forces are the various types of passengers.
  • Passengers are charged for all post-ticketing fees on a per-ticket basis.
  • You won't usually get a refund for fees.
  • Prices are subject to change at any time.
  • Priority is always given to airline fare regulations.

Refunds and Credits for the Future

  • The majority of plane tickets cannot be refunded.
  • It is conditional upon the terms and conditions of the airline fare whether credits or refunds are due.
  • Waivers are typically not available for tickets where the passenger does not show up.
  • Airline clearance is required before refunds are processed.

Requests for Specialized Services

A personal assessment is necessary for some demands, such as:

  • Addressing and name discrepancies
  • Problems with a passport or visa
  • Baggage and pet claims
  • Reasons for not showing up
  • Refused boarding requests
  • Processing of duplicate tickets

Paperwork that could be necessary:

  • Requests for a passport or visa
  • Return receipts and baggage tags
  • Letters for airline rejection
  • Return tickets in duplicate

After the service is finished, a special fee will be paid, and the airline must approve the refund before it can be processed.

Every cost associated with post-ticketing fees:

  • Cannot be refunded
  • Are charged in addition to airline penalty
  • Need approval from airlines
  • Are converted into local currency at checkout

The Travel Owls staff will only charge you the final amount that they quote or confirm.
